If a goal set was met, we have been playing one row down from the goal. Try the following rule.
When students break their goal, the next time they play, they start one row down from their previous starting point. For example, let’s say Kayden starts at A1 on the test grid (the first problem on the first line). He gets to D4 in 60 seconds (the fourth problem on the fourth row.)He tries again starting at A1 and reaches D6, breaking his record. The next time he plays, he doesn’t start at A1; he starts one row down at B1. In this way, students advance through all the problems. If they reach the last problem before time is up, they go back up to the top of page, or go on to the next Level.
