We had a wonderful last day of 3rd grade together!! We attended the awards ceremony in the morning and then played kickball together outside by the cemetery. After that we played classroom games. A few favorite games are Stratego and Quirkle. If you are interested in buying the games, try to find the old 1990's version of Stratego on Craigs List . My boys and I played it all of the time and loved it!! I found Quirkle at the Discovery store in mpls, but if you google it, you would be able to find it online .
We had a picnic lunch together in the cafeteria and watched Mr. Paupers Penguins in the afternoon. It's always hard to say goodbye!! Thanks for all of your support this year and for sharing you child with me. Every child had exceptional qualities and differences to add to the class which made us strong as a group. I have noticed a genuine kindness, respect, and forgiving heart in all of the students and for that I have to say thank you to you!! Thanks again and enjoy the summer. Mrs. Holbrook Classroom AR awards for point totals and number of words read this year have been sent home today.
