Study for the science test about patterns in the sky. (Study guides are in binders) The test will be on Friday, February 2nd. No Homelink Read AR Study facts (all facts are in protection sheets in binders) Classroom Newsy Things: We are excited to see pictures about the Lunar Eclipse tomorrow. We have been talking about the Super Blue Blood Moon that will be in the sky tomorrow night!! Sounds like I have to up and outside around 5:45 tomorrow morning to see the Lunar Eclipse. Homework
Home Link 6.5 was done in class today. Read AR 20 Minutes Study new vocabulary and spelling words Classroom Newsy Things: Next week is "Snow Days" in our district. The entire school has decided to celebrate Snow Days by dressing up each day next week. Below are the plans the Wakanheza Council came up with. Monday: Wacky Hair Day Tuesday: Sports Day (wear your favorite sports team clothes) Wednesday: Cowboy/Cowgirl Day Thursday: Dress up as your favorite book character (to also celebrate I Love to Read month) Friday: PJ Day Thank you to the Wakanheza Council for planning these days! Home Link 6.4 Study Multiplication/division fact triangles Study for the spelling and vocabulary test (spelling City) Classroom Newsy Things: We worked on making and naming triangles in small groups with straws and pipe cleaners. Tomorrow we will work on naming and making quadrangles. Homework

Finish the SuperSpeed Addition Level 2: worksheet (we started it in class and a few have turned it in already) Continue to work on multiplication and division facts. Read through fluency passage from yesterday 3x's. Study for spelling and Vocabulary test Classroom Newsy Things: We worked on 90, 180, 270, and 360 degree turns counter and counter clockwise. In cursive handwriting we are writing capitals and are on letter D. Homework
No Home Link - We did 6.2 in class. We are drawing parallel lines, rays, line segments, and intersecting lines and rays. Fluency passage - read through 3xs Study spelling and vocabulary Classroom Newsy Things: Keep working on multiplication facts and take out addition and subtraction fact cards once a week as well. Everyone is doing a fantastic job!! Homework
Home Link 5.9 (Time was given in school to work on this home link.) Play the place value game to the hundredths. Game mats are in binders. Kings are still zero and Aces are 1. Read AR Study spelling and vocab. Classroom Newsy Things: We were able us the virtual reality devices today and viewed the International Space Station and the satellite to Jupiter. We have the devices again tomorrow and will explore other areas. Homework
Read AR Study new vocabulary and spelling words Work on the spelling packet in binders No Home Link Classroom Newsy Things: We talked about the moon again today and discussed the four quarters. We took one complete revolution of the moon, 29.5 days, and divided it by 4. We found that every 7.375 days equals one quarter of the moons revolution around the Earth. Home Work
Home Link 5.8 Place Value booklets were sent home today to be used as a aid when doing the home link. We will be using them in class, so please have your child put them back in their school folder.
