Poems were chosen today, put in a protection sheaths, and then placed in three ring binders. Please help your child memorize the poem that they chose. Poems will be presented to the class on Thursday April 3rd and Friday the 4th. The poems may seem long but most have repetitive phrases. the home page of Weebly!! We had a super fun day!! **No School Monday the 24th and Early Dismissal on the 28th. ** Swimming starts for us on the 31st and goes through April 11th. Our swimming time will be from 12:50-1:40 on all days except day 4. **Due to the short week next week, we will extend our spelling test and reading passage (Boom Town), into the first week of April. **Junior Achievement ended today. St. Cloud State and St. John's Arboretum We will leave the school at 9:15 and return towards the end of the day. Our chaperones are Kyle Evenson, Dawn Smith, and John Ricard. Please have your child dress for the weather. We will be walking in the snow so boots, hat, mittens and snow pants would be helpful! Read AR Practice spelling words (story for the week is Leah's Pony) We performed our plays today and everyone had did a fantastic job! I will post the video of the plays next week. I will be out of the classroom from Wed. March 12 - 17th. Mrs. Theisen will be the substitute teacher. She is a retired teacher and has taught in our school many times. :) Swimming forms came home today in folders. Please complete and return by tomorrow if possible.
Read AR (we did not read AR in school today) Math practice x facts and work on packets if not finished. Ancient Greek folders were send home today and everyone is pretty proud of what they have accomplished! We will start Ancient Egypt this week and finish up the week after. I shared with the students that I will be absent from the 12th through the 17th of March. The substitute teacher will be Linda Thielen. Field Trip Chaperones - Kyle Evenson, Dawn Smith, John Ricard A big thank you goes out to everyone who volunteered to chaperone. Although we can only choose three people to chaperone and ride the buses, ll of you are welcome to meet us at the St. John's Arboretum in the afternoon around 12:15 for the Maple Syrup outdoor field trip. :) MUSIC 3rd and 4th Grade Music Concert - Thursday, March 13th, 6:30 p.m. Children may come to the classrooms at 6:00. Rehearsal - 1:50 p.m., March 13th Work on multiplication packets. There are four total.
