**Check out the Everyday Math on the Math Games drop down on Weebly. Everyone has their user name and password in three ring binders. You and your child will be able to print home links if they forget their book at school, access Student Reference books, play games through the program and access online games. Online games will need Flash Player installed if you do not already have it.
***Check out Spelling City through the Language Arts drop down. You will need to go to "more" and select Language Arts. Scroll down to the picture of Spelling City, click on it and enter usernames and passwords. (in binders) We have the premium package so there's a lot of fantastic games and activities to choose from to practice weekly words. Our list for the week is 2.2. The paper copy is in your child's binder.

We learned about antonyms today. We learned that some words can be changed to antonyms by adding the prefix un, dis, or non to words. Also adding suffixes ful and less can create antonyms. Reading proverbs is another way to find antonyms. Some antonyms are tricky and the reader has to pay close attention to the context of the sentence.
