Practice Facts AR reading Field Trip - Remember that if you would like to chaperone, please let me know by tomorrow morning. Names will be drawn right away in the morning. We started our unit on the Solar System today and had a scavenger hunt finding interesting facts. In math we played a game with partners reading big numbers into the hundred thousands. We also worked on yearly dates to help with time order events in a story and for grammar we worked on identifying singular and plural pronouns. On Tuesday, January 14th our class will be taking a field trip to St. John's University to see the play The Wizard of Oz. We will depart at 8:30 and return by 11:00 for lunch. Please let me know if you would be interested in being a chaperone. Three names will be drawn out of a hat on Friday morning. I will send home the note tomorrow and you will be able to fill it out and send it back on Friday, or your could reply to the blog or send and e-mail indicating that you would be interested in attending. Thanks!!
